This service is available only to patients with an established client-patient-veterinary relationship.
How Our Telemedicine Service Works
Focused Care:
Our telemedicine service provides expert interpretation of lab results from other clinics and tailored treatment recommendations. It is available exclusively to current Safe Haven Internal Medicine patients who are actively using our services. We require all recent lab results and medical records to be reviewed before providing recommendations.
Ongoing Support:
This service supports you beyond your appointment by:
- Addressing any additional questions or concerns after further research.
- Interpreting information if you are monitoring your pet at home.
- Answering any unrelated questions about your pet’s health.
Telemedicine Service Details:
- Time and Resource Allocation:
We charge $100 per billable hour, rounded to the nearest 15-minute interval. This fee reflects the time and resources invested in reviewing lab results, medical records, and developing detailed recommendations tailored to your pet’s needs. Most consultations
average between 15 and 30 minutes. - Response Time:
We aim to respond within 72 hours, with priority given to urgent cases. Communications are handled Monday through Friday, and you will receive recommendations via email or phone. - Billing Transparency:
After our review is complete, you will receive an invoice. Payment is due upon receipt.
